Hi, I’m Kerrin Revell, welcome to my journey of thought, which today is about Arts in the Ville.
On Labour Weekend this year, I will be having my first photography exhibition as part of the annual Arts in the Ville Festival.
It has been an interesting journey getting to this point. I have enjoyed taking photos for most of my life and I also take still and moving images as part of my job. My photographs for the exhibition, however, are quite different, as they are abstract photos.
I started up a personal Instagram account a year ago and didn’t really know what I was going to do with it but after a few days of experimenting I had figured it out. I have been slowly building up my portfolio and getting crazier and crazier with my experimenting. Going into “mad scientist mode” as my wife likes to call it.
I am quite proud to be taking part in Arts in the Ville 2020 and think it’s not too bad considering my high school photography teacher called me the worst photography student she had ever seen.
I am really looking forward to the exhibition and am hoping that some of you can make it.

Congratulations!
Thank you. 🙂
